You provide your product and process expertise; we contribute our test, data acquisition, and control expertise. After evaluating the raw signals you need to capture, we select and integrate the optimal data acquisition, signal conditioning, image acquisition, motion, and other hardware needed. We develop custom software to acquire and analyze your data to automate tests and measurements, and control processes.
Project Process Step 1: Specify system requirements
- Review customer requirements
- Understand details, including functionality, operator interface, reporting
- Create or clarify specification
- Review with customer
Before beginning a project, our engineers review your requirements. We interactively work with you to thoroughly define system functionality, inputs/outputs, operator interface, analysis, and reporting needs. With this information, we form a specification and design strategy. We also provide a corresponding proposal and price quotation.
Once you place an order, we schedule a preliminary design review meeting with all concerned parties to review and solicit feedback on the specification and design strategy. Afterward, we finalize the specification and design strategy based on feedback received at the meeting.
Step 2: Develop system
- Select hardware
- Develop software
- Integrate system
- Review with customer
With specifications in hand, we recommend the optimal hardware to meet your system requirements – nothing less or more than you need. Drawing from multiple platform and application experience, our engineers can help with sensors; signal conditioning and data acquisition; fixtures, switching, and instruments; image acquisition; motion control; enclosures, connectors, and cabling; and PCs and workstations.
Next we create custom software to acquire, analyze, and present the data. Our engineers have created hundreds of test, data acquisition, and control applications. We design your software to be user-friendly and intuitive, as well as efficient and scalable. Your system easily can expand from R&D to product design and validation to production test.
During this stage, we hold a final design review meeting to review operator interfaces and demonstrate system functionality to ensure compliance with the specification.
Step 3: Deploy and test final system
- Deploy onsite
- Test
- Review with customer
Once development is complete, we deploy the system at your facility. This involves integrating the system with your onsite equipment and processes. Together we thoroughly test the system to ensure everything works properly. Interactive review and training is provided to ensure the system meets your needs and that you understand its operation. We want you to be self-sufficient and able to maintain the system.
