Bloomy Controls has been named a Vision Specialty Alliance Partner by National Instruments. The company received this designation for its specialized skills in machine vision systems, including imaging, visual inspection, and in-line process control.
As a Vision Specialty Alliance Partner, Bloomy Controls offers a range of solutions from simple visual inspection, to custom application development, and complete turnkey systems. Turnkey systems may include mechanical fixturing, integrated motion, and customized software, as well as lens, lighting, and camera selection. Bloomy Controls has successfully applied its vision expertise to a wide variety of projects, including those in the electronics, medical, manufacturing, military and aerospace industries.
"Any time customers need an application that requires a custom algorithm for image feature identification, they can benefit from the expertise of Bloomy Controls. When commercial off-the-shelf products do not provide the necessary flexibility, we can develop a custom vision solution to solve the challenge at hand," explains Tom Barth, lead vision systems engineer at Bloomy Controls.
Bloomy Controls develops vision systems using NI LabVIEW system design software, including the LabVIEW Real-Time Module. The company is experienced with NI Embedded Vision Systems, as well as a variety of cameras such as IR and line scan.
