PCB Assembly and Manufacturing Technician - CT

Windsor, CT


Perform high-quality printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) for automated test equipment (ATE), and associated products. Support the company’s mission to provide test and measurement solutions that exemplify the world’s best professional practices, produced by a world-class team.


  • Minimum of 2-3 years of printed circuit board assembly and rework experience
  • Aptitude for electro-mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, or wire diagrams
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform point-to-point wiring
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Occasional travel to company and customer sites primarily within the northeast US


  • Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs), cables, harnesses, and products
  • Obtain and/or maintain the following IPC certifications: J-STD-001 Trainer, IPC-A-610 specialist, and IPC-A-620 specialist
  • Provide technical assistance and collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems before, during and after assembly
  • Modify prototypes, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct defects
  • Test completed assemblies to ensure proper operation
  • Follow and maintain company documentation standards and processes
  • Maintain and improve company quality processes
  • Maintain inventory and maintenance of company tools
  • Assure a clean and safe work environment
  • Promote company goals and encourage continuous improvement through participation, teamwork and quality

Other duties
