This .zip file contains an installer for the BCI-1553 software, including the drivers, documentation, and example code for test software development in all four of the BCI-1553 module's available operating modes: bus monitor, bus controller, remote terminal, and advanced.
All drivers and examples require LabVIEW 2015 with the FPGA and Real-Time modules installed. All software developed with the included drivers will require a BCI-1553 module to operate and compile.
In this video Steven demonstrates a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) validation test for a helicopter cockpit data collector. The data collector converts cockpit sensor LVDT signals into MIL-STD-1553 bus data for the flight controls computer (FCC). A PXI chassis is used to run plant and control models to simulate the helicopter systems that interface to the data collector, including the FCC, cockpit sensors, engine, and airframe.
