At a ceremony at the University of Connecticut's Alumni House, Peter Blume was honored as an inductee into the 2015 class of the Academy of Distinguished Engineers. The Academy honors UCONN's School of Engineering alumni and friends whose careers are characterized by their sustained and exemplary contributions to the engineering profession. Members are individuals who bring enduring honor to the community as practitioners and citizens. Blume, who is Bloomy’s Founder and President for 23 years, is a UCONN alumnus from the class of 1989 with a major in Electrical and Computer Engineering. |
