Real-time HIL test of environmental control systems for airframes

The Airframe Environmental Controls System Test Platform provides a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) closed-loop test environment for validation, production and maintenance testing of cockpit and cabin environmental control systems for airframes.

Learn about Simulation Systems, Bloomy's new test systems architecture comprised of COTS materials for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) closed-loop as well as open-loop testing of aerospace, transportation and defense electronics.

In this video, a modular test systems architecture comprised of NI PXI, SLSC and Bloomy modules and accessories is clearly explained. This architecture has the following features:

SLSC and cRIO Modules and Accessories

For HIL Test systems forget custom design and wiring. Instead use PXI, SLSC, new modular core HW architectures with well-defined interfaces. A near complete system can be specified and constructed using COTS, modular parts. In this presentation learn how one can accelerate the construction of systems that are well organized and easy to maintain with lower cost, lead time and risk.

Bloomy's Business Unit Manager for Aerospace HIL and Real-Time Test, Roy Walker, joined National Instruments (NI) on stage this year for the 2017 Alliance Day morning keynote. The keynote addressed Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) as a strategic application space that NI and Bloomy are collaboratively investing in. Bloomy received the NI designation of HIL Specialty Alliance Partner from NI earlier this year.
