Battery Test and Simulation News at Bloomy

May 31, 2016

Bloomy’s Battery Test and Simulation (BTS) team continues its participation at industry conferences in 2016, following a successful presence at the ESA (Energy Storage Association) 26th Annual Conference this past April in Charlotte, NC. At the event, Peter Blume spoke on "ESS Performance Testing for US DOE Energy Storage Smart Grid Demonstration Program". To view the presentation, see ESS Performance Testing - ESA 2016

June hosts the AABC (Advanced Automotive Battery Conference) event at the Cobo Center in Detroit, MI, where Peter Blume will present “An Open Systems Architecture Approach to BMS HIL Testing”. In this presentation, Peter will present the benefits of the open system architecture, including greater flexibility, extensibility, and reduced cost, via case studies from market-leading xEV companies and suppliers.

August brings the BTS team to the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX for NIWeek 2016. Peter Blume will present “Advanced Battery Testing Trends and Technologies”, and I will present “Test Challenges and Solutions for Advanced Battery Management System (BMS) Test”. Visit us at booth #205 in the expo hall where we will showcase a desktop demo version of Bloomy's BMS HIL Test System. For more details, watch for Bloomy’s NIWeek update in the next company released newsletter.

September rounds out our BTS conference year with The Battery Show at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI, where Peter Blume will present “A Universal Approach to BMS End-of-Line Manufacturing Test”. In addition, we will have a booth on the expo floor showcasing the BMS Manufacturing Test System along with our flagship product, the Battery Simulator 1200 and the soon to be released, Battery Fault Insertion Unit (FIU).

We look forward to another successful year of activity in the battery test and simulation industry, and we hope to see you there. Please come visit us and introduce yourself – we want to meet you!
